Recipients of 1-year grants must submit, within a maximum of 1 year after payment, an economic statement specifying how the money has been used.
Recipients of 2-year grants must submit, within a maximum of 2 years after payment, an economic statement as well as a brief popular science-based account of the project results.
Failure to provide such statements/accounts, and if the grant has been used for other purpose than specified and awarded in the application, will result in a duty of repayment. The Foundation may grant deferral of such statements/accounts if deferral is requested in advance and if the Foundation deems such referral to be reasonable.
The grant must be used at the university at which the researcher is employed at the time of application.
