The aim of the Foundation is to without a view to making a profit for an individual person or organization support the following purposes of public benefit:
- provision of assistance for humanitarian/social reasons or to the disabled, e.g. assistance to alleviate serious financial problems on account of the illness or disability of children/young people or assistance for people with serious financial difficulties.
- sport. Support may be granted for the youth activities of sports associations.
- cultural or artistic activities. kan beviljas till sökande från hela riket om de av Stiftelsen bedöms ha riksintresse.
-
studies/education for individual persons.
Support may be granted only for post-secondary school purposes (which means that all applications relating to schooling from pre-school to upper secondary school level, for example from Montessori schools, will be rejected) up to the level of post-secondary-school first degrees, to persons who during the year of application reach no more than the age of 28 and who enjoy full financial support from the Swedish National Board of Student Aid (CSN). However, grants may come into consideration if the applicant after consecutive years of study has exceeded CSN’s maximum permitted number of terms for financial aid. Grants will not be made for degree project travel, essay work or studies that are pursued exclusively outside Sweden.
for associations. Grants may be awarded to associations that support the post-secondary school studies of young people (grants for disabled children’s studies may be awarded under item 1 above).
- upbringing of children/young people. Support may be granted primarily to associations that promote this purpose, e.g. associations for scouting, open-air activities, combating of drug abuse and suchlike.
All the above-mentioned grants will be awarded only to applicants with a connection with the county of Scania (see, however, item 3 above).
Applications should be submitted on our form, marked “H10” in two copies. The form will be available as from 1 July 2010. It shall reach us no later than 4.00 pm on 2 September 2010. Mark the envelope “Application”.

When will you find out the result?
Decisions on grants will be given in writing in December 2010. Applications will not be returned. If you want your appendices to be returned in the event of your application being rejected, you should enclose a fully stamped addressed envelope with your application. The Foundation will keep appendices of approved applications.
How will you receive the money?
If we have awarded a grant, a requisition slip will be sent together with the award notification letter. You send this in to us when you need the money, which we will pay to you through the postal giro or bank giro service or directly into your bank account. We do not pay out grants in cash. If your need for a grant has changed since the application was submitted, you must not requisition the grant without our approving the change in advance.
What happens afterwards?
Within nine months after receiving payment, you must of your own accord submit an account to us of how the amount has been used. (You may obtain respite for the account if we find this reasonable and if you contact us in advance.) The award notification letter specifies how the account shall be made.
Do you need to repay the grant?
If the account is not approved, completely or partly, or if you have used the grant for purposes other than those we specified, you will be obliged to repay an amount corresponding to the part that was not approved or that was not used for the purpose intended. Should you not hear from us within two months of our receiving your account, it has met with our approval. Failure to provide an account, completely or partly, will result in an obligation to repay the grant.
And if the money is not requisitioned?
Grants that are not requisitioned prior to 1 January 2012 will not be paid out.
